59 PM CentralJob Summary This position is responsible for the security, maintenance of equipment, apparel and shoes.
according to established departmental policies and procedures within safety standards set by the NCAA, AEMA and the Department of Risk Management.
Job Duties & Responsibilities Assist in issuing, retrieving equipment and apparel Assist with laundry operations Inspecting incoming supplies and equipment Established an ongoing equipment inventory system Represent in meetings as assigned Assist with budget development and management Must be committed to maintaining compliance with NCAA and SWAC rules and regulations Assist in the processing of orders Supervise student assistants Packing items for away competitions Assist in the maintenance and repair of clothes and related team equipment Ensure proper usage of athletic equipment in accordance with national and departmental standards Coordinates equipment transportation for road trips and travels for away events as needed Perform other duties as assigned Attend various professional development when required Qualifications Minimum:
Bachelor's Degree is required One year of related experience (may include internship and graduate assistantship) Effective written/oral communication Must be able to use Microsoft word, excel, database software and banner web Must be computer literate Must be able to multi-task Handle confidential matters professionally as it relates to the Department of Athletics Sound judgment and maturity Preferred:
Master's Degree preferred Previous experience in intercollegiate athletics Supplemental Information Applications without the following will not be considered complete.
